Temple Israel is proud to host the final Moral Mondays in Memphis on Monday, March 12, leading up to the MLK50 Commemoration. Temple is expecting 500-800 guests for this event.
Rabbi Greenstein has requested enthusiastic greeters to help guide the participants to the right places on our campus. We need at least ten sisterhood volunteers who are willing to share our community and extraordinary hospitality with the local and national guests. We are invited to join the event once everyone is seated at 6:30 pm. The program should conclude by 8:30 pm.
There will be a volunteer meeting on Sunday, March 11, from 3:00 - 4:00 pm to review the logistics for Monday evening. We will meet in the atrium next to the statue of the Rabbi’s Hagbah (raising the Torah).
